Common questions

The widget isn't updating. iOS schedules widget refreshes on its own — Mantle requests a refresh every time you change a setting or rotate manually, but the system may delay it by a few minutes. Locking and unlocking your phone usually nudges it.

I changed my iPhone's language and my phrases didn't change. Mantle's library translates between English and Spanish automatically the next time the app opens after a language switch. If you don't see the new language, force-quit Mantle and relaunch it.

Where are my custom phrases stored? Entirely on your device, inside the app's group container. Mantle has no account system, no cloud sync, and no remote backup — back up your iPhone to keep your library safe.

Can I share a phrase as an image? Yes. Tap the share icon on the home screen and choose your destination — Mantle generates a Story-shaped image themed to your current colors and font.

How do I delete my data? Mantle keeps everything on your device, so deleting is direct:

• Swipe left on any phrase in your library to remove it. Starter phrases are hidden (and can be restored from Settings → Library → Hidden phrases); your own additions are deleted outright.
• To remove everything at once, delete Mantle from your home screen. iOS removes the app's container, including every phrase you've saved.

There are no servers, no accounts, and no remote backups to clear.
