Mantle is built to stay out of your way, and that includes how it handles your data. The short version: it doesn't.
Nothing. Mantle has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifiers, and no account system. Your phrases, settings, and selections are stored entirely on your device.
Nothing. Mantle makes no network calls and contacts no servers — ours or anyone else's. It works the same with or without an internet connection.
Inside the app's group container on your iPhone, alongside your widget settings. Mantle's iOS widget extension reads the same container so the home-screen and lock-screen widgets stay in sync. Nothing leaves the device.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a Mac, your Mantle library is included in that backup — handled by iOS, not by Mantle. Restoring the backup restores your library.
When you tap the share button on a phrase, iOS hands the text and an image to whichever app you choose. That destination's privacy policy applies to what happens next; Mantle isn't involved after the share sheet closes.
Mantle is rated 4+ and collects no data, so it complies with COPPA and similar regulations by default.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature requires optional network access — we'll update the date at the top of this page and call out what's different in the release notes.
